Jesmond Library has reopened
Jesmond Library closed on Monday 14 March for building work to include rewiring, new flooring, an extended community room, new ceiling and lighting, provision of a public toilet, and installation of automatic entrance doors. Self service issue machines have also being installed. The library has now reopened.

Monday: 9am - 8pm
Tuesday: 9am - 5pm
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 9am - 8pm
Friday: 9am - 5pm
Saturday: 9am - 5pm
Sunday: Closed
Please note: the public computers are automatically turned off 15 minutes before closing time.

Events at Jesmond Library
- Councillors surgeries first Thursday of the month 6pm - 7pm and third Saturday of the month 10am - 11am
- Story time for under 5s 2.15pm - 2.45pm term time only
- Reading groups third Monday of the month 6.30pm - 8pm. Fourth Thursday of the month 2.30pm - 3.30pm
- Internet taster sessions Monday 2pm - 3pm and Friday 2pm - 3pm sessions must be booked
- Craft sessions for over 5s during school holidays check with library for dates and times places must be booked.
