The best way to apply for a school place is online. It is easy, safe and secure.
Before you apply: have you read the admissions guidance, including admission policies for each school you are interested in? You must also consider the offers made last year as this gives a realistic idea of your child’s chances of getting a place.
What happens if you forget your password?
If you require support applying for a school place please contact the Families Information Service
If you forget your password, the system will require you to enter information for security verification, such as your email address, your mother's maiden name and postcode, before a password change will be accepted.
If you cannot provide this information for some reason, you will need to re-register with a different email address. Alternatively, email us at fis@newcastle.gov.uk or phone us on 0191 277 4133 with your original email address and we will reset your password for you. We will advise you when your access has been reactivated.
Once an application has been submitted, the confirmation email will be sent to whichever email account you used for the submission.
