[i.e. William Gray]. - Reprint of the 1649 edition. - With facsimile of original titlepage. - With Bewick vignette on titlepage. - One of a typographically uniform series of volumes, with woodcut vignettes by Bewick and his pupils, published in Newcastle, the earliest in 1817; after the foundation of the Typographical society of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1818 the publications were issued under the auspices of the society. - 8vo. 
 
 
Pease copy bound with five other items: An account of the great floods -- The siege of Newcastle -- The taking of Newcastle -- His Maiesties passing through the Scots Armie -- The Scots Martch. - Bookplate, lettered John William Pease [(1836-1901)]; engraved by Thomas Bewick as a ball ticket, adapted for use by William Garret (1784-1857), re-adapted as a bookplate for Robert Pinkney, and finally for Pease (Tattersfield p.18).
